The Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 team started the second round as they did the first of the Absa Under-19 Provincial Championship - by beating the Leopards.

This time, at Loftus B, they won 48-12, scoring eight tries to two. The Blue Bulls were leading 24-0 at the break.

With this win the home side extended their winning record to seven consecutive matches.

Tries by Duncan Matthews, Ganfried May, Jean Droste, Keagon Gordon, Pierre Schoeman (2), Riekert Hattingh, Rohan Janse van Rensburg. Conversions: Juan-Philip Smith (4).

Under 21's win

The Under-21 team claimed top spot of the Absa Under-21 Provincial Championship log with a 48-33 win over the Leopards at Loftus B.

The bonus point win pushed the team past the DHL Western Province and The Sharks Under 21's, who both have a game in hand as they will only play on Saturday.

The Blue Bulls were leading 29-19 at the break in a match affected by a strong wind.
