Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-21 coach Nollis Marais included Jan Serfontein, Handrè Pollard, Jacques du Plessis and Paul Willemse in his starting XV to play The Sharks Under 21 at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
The foursome has been drafted for this Absa Under-21 Provincial Championship semifinal after playing for the Vodacom Blue Bulls in the Absa Currie Cup competition last weekend, and will join the likes of William Small-Smith, Travis Ismaiel, Tony Jantjies, Jaco Visagie and Wiaan Liebenberg as players who donned both the Currie Cup and Under-21 jerseys in 2013.
Hencus van Wyk also formed part of the Vodacom Bulls Super Rugby squad.
Liebenberg, Small-Smith, Serfontein, Ismaiel, Willemse, Jantjies and Pollard were all members of the champion Junior Springboks team that won the 2012 Junior World Championship.
Du Plessis, Irne Herbst, Dries Swanepoel and Dennis Visser played for the team in 2013, with Ruan Steenkamp captaining the side in France at the JWC this year.
The Blue Bulls Under-21 team finished second on the competition log to earn the home berth for the semifinals, whilst The Sharks finished third on the log.
Kick-off at Loftus Versfeld is at 15h00 on Saturday 19 October 2013.
