The Vodacom Bulls are set to strengthen their relationship with the Reach For A Dream foundation as they look to get more involved in the foundation's events, assist the foundation with fundraising and most importantly, bringing the foundation closer to the players and supporters of the Vodacom Bulls.
Reach For A Dream's mission is to fulfill the dreams of children between the ages of 3-18 faced with life-threatening illnesses and the Vodacom Bulls are committed to being a part of the foundation's journey.
Anel Engelbrecht, Reach For A Dream's Marketing and Fundraising Coordinator for the Pretoria branch, stated that the assistance of the Vodacom Bulls in helping the foundation has always been phenomenal.
"The Bulls have always been incredible when it comes to helping us to realise the dreams of our children who want to meet their heroes," said Engelbrecht.
"We are so excited that the Bulls have chosen us as one of their charities for 2017 and we look forward to strengthening our relationship even further," she added.
The players are eager to get stuck in and make these courageous fighters' dreams come true especially Vodacom Bulls fullback Jesse Kriel, who spent some time with one of the children last year.
“We have an immense respect for the team at Reach For A Dream, and are humbled by the selfless work they do on a daily basis. Over the last few years they have introduced us to some of the most amazing kids, that have truly been an inspiration to us all at Loftus. I have personally had the pleasure of meeting a young man last year who has no doubt changed my life. Watching just how brave these little ones are, in taking on some of these dreaded diseases, reminds us of just how trivial our daily complaints are. The boys and I are eager and excited about taking this relationship to the next level," said Kriel.
