Tinus de Beer had South African rugby circles talking when he spearheaded FNB UP-Tuks’ attack during their 2017 FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International title winning campaign.

The former SA Schools and Junior Springbok pivot was schooled at Hoërskool Waterkloof and has represented the Blue Bulls at U18 level (Academy Week, Craven Week), U19, U21, Vodacom Cup, Currie Cup Qualifiers and in the Super Sport Rugby Challenge.

With a reshuffling of options at flyhalf come 2018, De Beer’s patience should pay off as the talented flyhalf stakes his claim at senior level.
