The Vodacom Bulls will open their 2019 Vodacom Super Rugby campaign against the DHL Stormers in Pretoria in an extended tournament that will also see the team on a five-week tour to Australasia.
As there will be no June inbound international matches in 2019 – due to Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan later in the year – Super Rugby will run uninterrupted for 21 weeks.
The Vodacom Bulls will travel to Australasia in the latter part of the competition and will play the Crusaders, Rebels, Brumbies, Blues and Highlanders on consecutive weekends, before returning home to host the Emirates Lions in the last round of regulation play.
They will host all other South African sides and the Jaguares in the normal home and away fixtures and will have home ground advantage against the Chiefs, Reds and Waratahs.
