In the month of July 2014, we introduce to you Marguerite Prinsloo who has been a part of the Blue Bulls family since 2001. She first started out as an Accountant in the Finance department in 2001.
Although Margie (as the staff refer to her) enjoyed working in Finance, she was given the opportunity to showcase the variety of her skills. She assisted in the Marketing department in 2010 and was later appointed as the Events Co-ordinator in 2011.
She was awarded employee of the month in July for the exceptional work she did with organising and managing Vodacom’s Bulletjie day. She has been coordinating this event for the past 3 years, and it has grown from strength to strength with a total of 5200 children, between the ages of 6 and 8, playing tag rugby at Loftus in one day.
JOB TITLE: Events Co-ordinator
To co-ordinate all Blue Bulls company events as well as manage details required to ensure that all events are run smoothly and successfully. Co-ordinate the effective implementation of the Marketing activations plan in conjunction with the Marketing manager.

Q. What is the toughest part of your job?
A. The long working hours as I miss out on a lot of quality time with my family.
Q. What is the best thing about working at the Bulls/Loftus?
A. Organising and smoothly executing the Vodacom Bulletjie days.
Q. What is your fondest memory at the Bulls/Loftus?
A. Winning the Super 14 at Orlando Stadium in Soweto against the Stormers in 2010.
Q. Sad/disappointing memory at the Bulls/Loftus?
A. When the staff went to Bloemfontein to watch the Currie Cup Final against the Cheetahs in 2006 which resulted in a draw.

2. Role Models?
My first Manager Annie Snyman from Booz and Hamilton. She made me believe in myself and my abilities.
3. What do you do for fun in your spare time?
I used to play drums which was very relaxing.
4. Your greatest achievement?
My very first Vodacom Bulletjie day in 2011.
