Danie Rossouw

Danie Rossouw

Call him whatever you want, but call him! Danie Rossouw again showed on the weekend why he has played for four different Springbok coaches in his career with another stellar display of power rugby against the Cheetahs.
Rossouw not only scored two great tries for his side on their way to a pulsating win over the Bloemfontein side, but also made telling impacts on defense and was a menace to the visiting side when he came off the bench in the 44th minute.

Within 20 minutes he turned the match on its head with those tries, respectively his 8th and 9th tries in Super Rugby in his 113th match.

Rossouw now shares the franchise record for Bulls apprearances with Pedrie Wannenburg and Victor Matfield. "Danie is playing some of the best rugby of his career," coach Frans Ludeke admitted afterwards. "He has always been a stalwart to the team and will never let you down."
