The Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 squad finished their regular season with a 12th consecutive victory on Saturday by defeating Free State Cheetahs 52-14. The team will now host the Leopards in the semi-final of the competition at Loftus Versfeld on the weekend.
The team scored more than 40 points in seven of those wins and accumulated 502 points, more than 200 points more than the next team in the competition, DHL WP, who scored 301.
Their 70 tries is also almost double of the next team, the Leopards (45).
The top try scorers were Pierre Schoeman (7), Daniel Kriel (6) and Rohan Janse van Rensburg (6). Kobus Marais (94) has scored the most points for the team.
Coach Paul Anthony has used 40 players during the season, with only 5 of them only playing in one match.
