Tony Jantjies

Tony Jantjies

Tony Jantjies notched up 45 points in his three appearances for the Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-21 side already and again on Saturday showed off his skills and overall game when his team outclassed the Border Bulldogs in East London.

The flyhalf kicked six conversions and scored a try as the Blue Bulls romped to a 66-14 win.

Jantjies has been a stalwart for numerous Blue Bulls teams in recent seasons and with his performance on Saturday showed that it will only be a matter of time before he will make the step-up to Currie Cup level.

Given his late start to the season due to a personal tragedy and a groin strain, it is clear that Jantjies now got his fitness and focus back.
