Vodacom Blue Bulls u.21’s looking for top spot
11 October 2011

The Vodacom Blue Bulls u.21 side needs to finish strong in their last match of the Absa competition against the Leopards at Loftus Versfeld on Friday in order to achieve their goal of topping the log in a very competitive league.

Coach Nollis Marais is still without a couple of regular starter who are injured but can still field a very strong side, with lock Franco Mostert the main warrior.

“We are playing a true competitor this weekend and will have to produce an outstanding performance for a couple of reasons. The most important of those is the looming play-offs and the need to get there with lots of momentum,” Marais said.

The team is: Clayton Blommetjies, Sampie Mastriet, Bradley Moolman, Adri Jacobs, Courtnall Skosan, JC Roos, Lohan Jacobs, Jono Ross, Wiaan Liebenberg, Dalton Davis, Franco Mostert, JJ Breet,Stephan Pretorius, Bongi Mbonambi, Juan Schoeman.

Replacements: Jacques Momberg, Basil Short, Rudolph Smith, Lean Schwartz, Xander Redelinghuys, Willie du Plessis, Ulrich Beyers.
