Loftus Versfeld will be the centre of the universe to around 5000 young rugby playing kids from almost 90 schools on Saturday when the annual Vodacom Bulletjie rugby festival takes place at the outside fields at the stadium.
Dreams and visions of becoming the next Vodacom Bulls star will on the mind of many of the kids playing in the under six, under seven and under eight age group categories on May 5th.
The festivities will be held for the 15th year in succession and as usual all participants will receive medals and water bottles afterwards.
Vodacom is a proud sponsor of the Bulls and Blue Bulls since 2005 and their association with those teams and the Blue Bulls Rugby Union is well established. The company is not only a service provider of cellular networks, but also actively involved in sports development and their presence at the Bulletjie day further strengthens their relationship with the Super Rugby champions of 2007, 2009 and 2010.
The Vodacom Bulls supporters are also very important to Vodacom and by sponsoring this event it creates an opportunity for the next generation of players to have fun with their families in a competitive, but fun environment and the chance to play at one of the iconic ruby stadiums in the country.
For the Blue Bulls Rugby Union it is the ideal vehicle to further develop their player base, to market their brand and rugby amongst the youth and to create the opportunity for thousands of rugby playing kids to enjoy their favourite sport.
