Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-21 coach Nollis Marais made three changes to his side that will play KwaZulu/Natal in an Absa Under-21 Provincial Championships match on Friday.
Vodacom Blue Bulls hooker Bongi Mbonambi has been released from Currie Cup duty and will make a rare and first start for the Under-21 side this season. He replaces Jason Thomas.
Juan Cook, who starred in the team’s win over the Leopards in Potchefstroom last weekend, has in turn been called up to the senior side and will be replaced by Victor Hechter at number eight for the Loftus Versfeld clash. Hechter moves from the bench where he will be replaced by Cloete Wessels.
Regular fullback Riaan Britz is back from injury and will again wear the number fifteen jersey, replacing Damian van Wyk, who goes back to his role of impact player.
