No serious injuries in Bulls' camp

The coach of the Vodacom Blue Bulls Frans Ludeke confirmed on Monday morning that there aren't serious injuries in the camp following Saturday's 23-5 victory over the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

"There were a few niggles but none of the players couldn't walk after the match.

"We will have more clarity on Deon Stegmann's injury on Tuesday but I anticipate that he will be fit for our match against the Griquas in Kimberley."

Ludeke said that he will select his strongest team for the clash against Griquas and not any of the players will be rested.

3. Môre Bulle,Bullinne & Bergbok.
Welgedaan Bulle.

6. "The credit must go to Victor and the senior guys like Fourie du Preez and Wikus van Heerden. They took control and you could just see during the week that they were a different side and the guys bought in and they just gelled.

"It was awesome the way Victor kept the guys together for the entire 80 minutes, especially in that second half when they were coming at us and we were one man down with Danie Rossouw in the bin."

The Bulls played like a championship outfit, displaying tremendous patience in their build-up to score their points and being ruthless in the execution at the set pieces.

"It was a very even battle up front and the tries came from mistakes and it proved that in these big games, it is about turnovers and using your opportunities," said Ludeke.

"We were really sharp in the first half and built up a very good lead and mentally we put them under pressure. They came back at us in the second half and there was some furious attacking from them, but fortunately our defence kept them out.

"John McFarland (Bulls defence coach) was spot on during the week in areas that he identified and we worked on.

The Bulls will also take heart from the fact that a few of their rusty players showed glimpses of form, with Bryan Habana being the pick of the lot and scoring a try.

Du Preez is getting better by the game and the way things stand, he could be in blistering form in the semi-finals.

Lekker dag almal

Doen so voort PR.

Wees getrou my BLOUVOLK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
