Vodacom Blue Bulls winger, Vainon Willis, scored a brace as his side romped home to a 50-7 win over the Valke in Kempton Park on Saturday.
The Blue Bulls scored eight tries in their win, topping the log in the north section of the Vodacom Cup and remaining the only undefeated side in the competition.
“We played our best half of rugby so far this season in the first half,” coach Nico Serfontein said afterwards. The Blue Bulls had a 38-0 lead at the break.
“We became a bit impatient in the second half and we did lose some momentum too, but I am very pleased with the effort. I cleared the bench early as well, so everyone in the side had a good run,” Serfontein said.
