Vodacom Bulls relax ahead of big Auckland clash
30 March 2010 (19:16)
The Bulls are relaxing in Auckland after a long flight from Perth, writes team doctor Org Strauss in his daily tour update…
Hi there all,
Monday in Auckland was pretty relaxed. Because some players only arrived here very early this morning, all had the day off. It is very important for them to stay awake during the day and only so sleep at night in order to adjust to the new time zone as soon as possible.
A couple of guys went for a round of golf, other strolled the city. The hotel is in the middle of the city with a couple of restaurants and shops around us.
All enjoyed the down time en rested well ahead of the training sessions scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
The rugby public over here is much more involved that those in Australia. Many talk rugby to you and about the Bulls and their chances in Saturday’s big game. The media also wanted to speak to the players and all is building up towards a great game.
