The Vodacom Blue Bulls team opened their 2014 Vodacom Cup campaign with a narrow loss to GWK Griquas at Loftus B on Saturday. The visitors won 26-24. Griquas lead 17-13 at the break. Both teams scored two tries.

The Vodacom Blue Bulls have named their team to participate in the inaugural World Club 7s to be played at Twickenham, London on 17 and 18 August.
