Unsuspecting season ticket holders arriving at Loftus Versfeld to collect their tickets for the 2013 season were taken by surprise when they were given the additional bonus of taking photos and interacting with Vodacom Bulls players, Bulletjie and the Vodacom Bulls Babes this afternoon.
The buildup to the start of the 2013 Vodacom Super Rugby season has been a particularly good one with the Vodacom Bulls clinching convincing victories against the MTN Lions and the Toyota Cheetahs respectively, which formed part of the Union's 75th Anniversary celebrations.
Today, it was the fans' turn to be treated to a unique opportunity to meet the players and pass on their well wishes for the season ahead, while also getting the chance to snap photos of Bulletjie and the Bulls Babes. On Monday, the Vodacom Bulls launched their "Stand By Me" campaign, a video in which the entire team sings their unique rendition of the popular hit originally performed by Ben E King.
Loftus Versfeld has been an unconquerable fortress in the past and the Vodacom Bulls are planning to use all the support and backing of their faithful and loyal fans in the season ahead to bring the Trophy back to Pretoria. Today's meet and greet was the Vodacom Bulls players way of showing appreciation to their passionate and supportive season ticket holders.
The Vodacom Bulls kick off their 2013 Vodacom Super Rugby campaign on 22 February at Loftus Versfeld against the DHL Stormers at 7:10pm.
