A strong second half performance by the Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 side saw them beat the Xerox Golden Lions Under-19 side 37-30 in a exciting match of the Absa Under-19 Provincial Championship at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
The visitors lead 20-17 at the break, but could not counter the second-half effort from the home side, who scored five tries in the match, with no8 and captain Hanro Liebenberg getting a brace.
Three tries in the opening ten minutes of the second half saw the Blue Bulls home.
With this win the defending champion Blue Bulls moved to the top of the standings, four points ahead of DHL WP who has a game in hand.
