Vodacom Blue Bulls junior teams named to face Leopards
The Vodacom Blue Bulls junior teams will face the Leopards in Potchefstroom on Saturday in the Absa Under-21 and Absa Under-19 provincial championship respectively.
Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-21 coach Handré Marnitz have included Junior Springbok prop Pierre Schoeman in his team for the clash. Schoeman has just recovered from a knee injury that kept him out for almost the entire season. Corne Cooper is also fit again following injury and will start at flank.
The team is: Ganfried May, Divan Rossouw, Marquit September, Adrian Maebane, Keanon van Wyk, Kobus Marais, Theo Maree, Jsuanre Swanepoel, Corne Cooper, Marco van Staden, Nicolaas Janse van Rensburg, Le Roux Roets, Nqobi Mxoli, Arno van Wyk, Pierre Schoeman. Replacements: Jan van der Merwe, Stefaan Grundelingh, Riekert Hattingh, Chris Massyn, Impi Visser, Marcel Steyn Scholtz, Wesley Cupido.
•The Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 team coach Hayden Groepes named two schoolboy locks in his squad that will be keen to reverse the result of their previous match against the Leopards, which the visitors won at Loftus Versfeld.
Hendre Stassen played for the SA Schools team earlier this month and Garsfontein High School's Jaco Bezuidenhout played for the Blue Bulls Academy side during the Coca-Cola Youth Weeks in Vanderbijlpark.
