Pumas down Blue Bulls
The Steval Pumas ran in four tries to one as they eased to a 25-13 (half-time 15-13) win over the Vodacom Blue Bulls in their provincial tournament clash at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Friday.
The win saw the Pumas register their fourth victory on the trot while they condemned the Blue Bulls to their fourth loss in five matches.
The Pumas were full value for their win as they overturned a 10-point deficit after the Blue Bulls had made the stronger start to the contest.

Hooker Frankie Horne grabbed the Pumas’ first try before scrumhalf Reynier van Rooyen and left wing Marcello Sampson both crossed for unconverted scores as the Pumas raced to a 15-10 lead.
The home team managed to stop the bleeding with the last kick of the half as Stander succeeded with his second penalty of the contest to narrow the gap to just two points at the break.
However, the Pumas were not to be denied and they extended their lead 14 minutes after the restart when pivot Justin van Staden kicked a penalty.
The visitors clinched their four-try bonus-point, after 66 minutes, when outside centre Hoffman Maritz went over for a converted score.
