Late Jackson try even up matters against WP

A late try by centre JT Jackson, converted by himself, earned the Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-21 team a 29-29 draw against defending SA Rugby Under-21 Champions, DHL Western Province, at Loftus Versfeld on Friday.

The visitors lead 29-15 after an hour of play, but tries by Ivan van Zyl (pictured) and Jackson allowed them to claw their way back into the match.

Earlier, the DHL Vodacom Blue Bulls under-19 team suffered their first defeat of the year when DHL Western Province edged them out 18-17. A late penalty by scrumhalf Jondre Williams secured the win for the team from the Cape. WP are now the only undefeated team in the competition.
