The Blue Bulls Company together with the Southern Kings and SA Rugby will be using this weekend’s test match at Loftus Versfeld, between the Springboks and France, to assist with collecting disaster relief items for communities affected by the recent storms and fires.
These storms and fires continue to rage and ravage parts of our country in the Eastern and Western Cape. There is no doubt that a massive humanitarian crisis is looming, and we believe that by standing together the rugby community and the South African public can play a major role in assisting those affected.
Supporters that will be attending the test match between the Springboks and France are requested to bring along non-perishable items, such as: tinned and dry foods, blankets, nappies, clothing, water and any other non-perishable supplies, which may be dropped off at designated areas at all the entrance gates to Loftus this Saturday.
The Southern Kings will assist in transporting the collected goods to the affected areas and distribute to appropriate disaster management organistations.
