The Vodacom Bulls are once again partnering with their charity of choice, Reach for a Dream, as the men from Pretoria prepare to take on the visiting Crusaders at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday, 6 May.

Reach for a Dream’s biggest fundraising campaign is Slipper Day which falls on Friday, 12 May 2017 and the Vodacom Bulls are opening Loftus Versfeld to the organization so that they can punt their cause, raise awareness and raise funds for children with life-threatening illnesses by selling Slipper Day wristbands on the D-field.

The Vodacom Bulls have a few surprises in store come game day and captain Adriaan Strauss praised the work Reach for a Dream does and urged supporters to support their cause.

“Working with Reach for a Dream is a huge privilege for us. As a team we have been afforded the opportunity to meet some incredible superheros. By that I mean the staff of Reach for a Dream who work with terminally ill children on a daily basis but more importantly, the children who show incredible bravery in spite of their circumstances. They are truly a massive inspiration to us all,” said Strauss.

“So come out and support a great cause next Saturday and witness a spectacle of rugby against the Crusaders,” he added.

“We are really excited to join forces with the Vodacom Bulls as Slipper Day is the foundation’s single biggest fundraiser every year. We are looking forward to everyone coming to the game on 6 May, please come and say hi and buy your wristband from us on the D-field,” said Anél Engelbrecht, Reach For A Dream’s Marketing and Fundraising Coordinator for Pretoria.
